What a great feeling!
#1
All this cold weather, I couldn't help but stand out on my lawn and fire up my ice auger. Ahhh.. what a great feeling, standing there seeing my breath and watching my auger spin round and round.

After about 5 mins, I figured the neighbors were starting to confirm their thoughts that I'm wacko and put it away-- ready for the ice!

After 5 minutes of spinning that thing, do you now have a fence post hole, or is that a gold fish pond, in the middle of your lawn?

I know the feeling I got mine out last week when I put away the string trimmer. I ran it long enough to get it warm then I changed the blades.

Joyride- I have a pot hole that I'm sure I will stumble into the first day out to the ice, break my ankle and call it quits! [Tongue]

The cover was on and I was fiddling with it a bit. It's good to go now. Kraizee, well, now you know what to ask Santa for Christmas? or you can just come fishing with me. I'm always looking for new fishin' buddies, especially ice fishin' ones. Most of my pals think I'm wacko going ice fishing all the time.

kraizee-

Deal, I go can go dormant during the off season. After this weekend- What Nascar??!? Huh? What's that-- until next year at Daytona.

Call me a sports junkie and NASCAR is just one of the many things I enjoy watching. Heck, I've been known to watch lacrosse at 2 a.m. in the morning and enjoy it. My wife thinks I'm crazy. If it's a sport, has anything competitive, I'm there...

[#ff4040]Come on now...... Those guys can't turn right. I'm into all sports too. I sometimes watch nascar but have never really gotten into it. I am more into drag and road racing when it comes to autosports. I have the same feeling to that if it is competitive then it is worth watching. [laugh][/#ff4040]
