[cool][black]Dec 23, 2005, 8:45-3:00, my two sons and I punched 4 holes in the ice, 8-9 inches thick, 26 ft of water we dropped jigs tip with mealworm and with in seconds my oldest had one iced. By the time we were through we had caught about 90 all were cutts. All were put back. 4 or 5 were 22+. Had a great time weather was great a bit windy. [/black]

What part of strawberry were you fishing? I hit Chicken creek with a buddy from work. Hit the ice a little after noon and fished until dusk and I only iced 6 and my buddy iced 3 with a nice 23"er. Only one rainbow and all fished were returned. Sounds like a great day. We drilled holes from 4' to 35' of water and 15 to 20 feet seemed to procuce best for us.

[cool]We were off Renegade Marina in Indian Creek Bay. Thank heaven for snowmobiles. We were in my son's new Caravan Ice shelter when the wind picked up a bit. It was great we shovelled the snow off the ice inside, it gave us 6x6 aqua vision through the ice. When reeling the fish in other fish would follow and we would drop our jigs in and catch fish right next to the ice. Talk about excitement. 3 or 4 times we had triple fish iced before there was time to unhook the others. What a great day with the boys. What can I say "Da BERRY".

Did you snow mobile across the ice to Renegade or did you ride the road?

[cool]Welcome aboard, Jigler1 and NICE report! I've gotta get up there to the 'berry and get me some nice cuts through the ice! Still haven't been up there this ice season yet. These warm water fish taste so dang good, I've gotta re-focus and go after the slime rockets. Gotta get me a monster cut or two this year!
