Got out on the ice 12/23

[cool][cool][cool] Fished yesterday on Davitts Lake NY We had 4" of ice so we left the quads on land. We were hoping for a crappie bite but it never happened we did manage some nice 12" perch and about 15 smallmouth bass we had to stuff back down the holes. The biggest bass was about 4lbs. they were fun to catch.
Didnt' get any pics. for the contest because the guy I was with is a terriable photo taker. He cost me about 6 entries this summer. Merry Christmas Chief

that a big ouch on the shutter bug...

I dont trust my camera any more so I have to wait till I get home with my fish to be sure I get the shot. I am hopin for a cold snap, the last three days have been above 35* and close to 40* so what ever ice I had I am not trusting it till we get a good cold snap. I put in for one a couple hours ago, A cardinal landed on my gate just a couple feet away from me and sat there for a spell. sure sing of winter commin on, I need to find my sunflower seed to keep him around, Cardinals are pretty birds and carry a nice tune...
