I went out to Utah Lake at 2:30 PM on Saturday. Took the airport road south right before the Utah Lake bridge.
I'm not a pro--only been out twice before. I could hear alot more carp splashing than last week. I found a spot and shot 13 in a couple of hours. The water was clear, but I had to shoot them about 12 inches below the surface, since only one came to the surface.
I had three people stop and ask me what I was doing. They had never seen or heard of carp hunting on Utah Lake.
I missed about 30 percent of my shots, so there were a lot more carp there that I missed. I'm still looking for a shallow spot with carp on the surface. Any ideas?
