I have just got into bass fishing and really enjoy it. But with the prices of gas i am unable to get down where the fishing is good (southen Utah). I was just wondering if there were some places around Salt Lake that I could catch a few of these bucketmouths.

Pineview has a huge amount of smallies, but very few largies. The cool thing is, if you catch a lm. it is going to be big. From my exp. Plus you have a good shot at tigers fishing for bass.

I really need to get up to Jordanelle in the Pontoon it sounds like. I have caught little smallies at DC but i want some size to them. Since i am just starting the bass route, i am a fly fisherman, what are some good techniques to use on a fly rod or casting?

[#ff4040]Just remember that out at Stansbury Park you either have to be a resident of the community or fish with somebody that is a resident. There are some people out there that will definitely call the cops on ya if your not.[/#ff4040]
