Went to Scofield Friday 5/12 for the entire day. Arrived about 7:30am and fished from the shore at the south west end just past the town of Scofield. Used minnows, tried a kastmaster, tried spinners and a worm, also tried floating the bait, but when I fished off the bottow with orange sparkle power bait or Captain America I caught em. Got 3 fish total each fish was about 16-15 inches, I kept them because I like to eat a trout dinner after such a long drive and day of fishing, it was excellent. [cool]

I'd recomend next time you're up there to pay the extra $5 and go into the Madsen bay state park. We've always caught a good amount of trout on minnows in there. Pretty darn nice ones, too.

I might try that sometime, but being able to fish anywhere else and saving that $5.00 is nice too. I believe I will try the egg sacks next time.
