Mantua...
#1
Hit Mantua yesterday and had a good time just chilling on the rocks. The Bluegils were hitting everything I threw out there. Caught about 30 - 40 and about 10 Perch. Not to bad about 10 - 12 inches. Did well with the LM as well and hit about 3 of them at about 13 inches. Fun to play with on a light pole with a 4lb test. It's been great out there for panfish and some okay LM. Will be hitting the Bay tomorrow evening to play with the wipers...

[cool]Nice report. I'm going out there on my tube Saturday. Were you on the shore or boat/tube? Were you fishing with bait? If so, did you use a bobber or on the bottom? Just curious. I think I'm going to use jigheads/tubes tipped with perch meat or meal worms. Good luck on your next trip out!

I was on shore at the north gate using jig tipped with worm and then switched to the perch method. Had a bobber and set the hook about 6 - 7 feet. Great, maybe i'll see you out there...I'll have my tackle with my bigfish sticker on it. Smile
