My brother in law and myself drew out this year. Decided to head out Thursday afternoon. Shot at the first flock over us. Nailed them at about 30 yards. These two dropped from a flock of 4. Follow the links for the pics.

For those of you that have swan permits now is the time to fill them. I talked to one of the division people that fly the marshes around the great salt lake. He said they counted over fifty thousand birds in the northern marshes on Tuesday. That is one of the highest counts ever. Good luck filling those tags. Gshorthair

They are in thick right now. Wherever you end up setting up for them, hold still. They are low and uneducated right now.

They are definately in! I have seen swans in huge numbers for almost 3 weeks. Wish i had not forgot the deadline.[unimpressed]
