Scofield?
#1
Planning on going to scofield tomorrow, was wondering if anyone has fished it in the last couple days? I heard it slowed down and will probably try to get to the island if i go? Any other ideas on what might be hot tomorrow? thanks.

[cool]Sorry, I haven't been there lately, but I can tell you from past experience that the ice is generally about 15 inches thick this time of year, and as the oxygen starts depleting in the lake under the hard cap, the fishing gets a little slower now too. I've always had my best luck there for the first month-month and a half after it has safe ice. If you are going to give it a shot, try "the shacks" area which is that point just past the dam as the dam channel goes out into the main lake. Just go strait out from that old abondond trailor about 50 yards off shore and drill right there. I've always done well in the spot in about 15-25 feet of water...
