Echo

Has anyone fished Echo in the last few days? I am planning on taking a couple of newbies on Monday and not sure where to go. I am planning on hitting Jordanelle in the morning and meeting up with them in the early afternoon.

Four of us hit Echo Sunday morn about 40 yards off the boat ramp.We fished for about an hour and a half without a sigle bite.We noticed about 5 or 6 other groups around the lake but not sure of there sucess.We were targeting slimers so I'm not sure how the perch bite is.If you want trout skip Echo and hit E.Canyon or maybe Lost Creek.Hope this helps.

Fished in the evening for an hour and a half on Saturday. We iced a half dozen small perch and missed a bunch of light bites. The fishing was dead at first then turned on a bit when the sun went down behind the mountain.
