Upper Arkansas River

I drove along the upper Arkansas River yesterday afternoon from the Buena Vista area up to Leadville. The river is in great shape - low and clear the entire stretch. Even though it was a beautiful day and 60 degrees I only saw 2 fishermen on that whole stretch of river! I had some time constraints and couldn't stop to fish, but I know from past experience this is a great time to fish that part of the river before it gets blown out by runoff.
