Little Sahara Sand Dunes
#1
Took a weekend off from fishing to go to the Little Sahara sand dunes. Usually the weekof Easter is when we go .But we went the week after this time. Our thinking was that we could avoid the big crowds. boy were we wrong. There were more people there this weekend. But the sand was still a blast. Between the 2 groups of people we had so many extra 4-wheelers and sand rails. This was a great weekend

I was out there saturday, and you are right about all of the people, but man what a blast. Did you see the colorado sand truck jumping about 2:30-3:30 saturday afternoon? those were some sick jumps he was doing. Did you see the blackhawk hellicopters about 12 i enjoyed watching them, when they came around i usually stoped and watched, usually resulting in me getting stuck and having to dig my pig out of the sand.

Honestly, i sont know what loop i was in, i was just infront of the north slope right off of the main road. Next time i head out there i will give you a holler, we can go ride the back side, thats a whole lot more fun then just shooting the hill all day.

Our other time is spent in the dunes doing the bowls and trails @ white sands across the road from the main area. yea the next time you guys go out let me know .
