Kayak/Fishing Hennefer to Taggart UT 7/1/07

Took a 4 hour float down the Weber River from Hennefer to Taggart.

Used a 3 foot pole, open faced spinning reel, 4 lbs test. Trolled and casted, had 4 trout 10-14" hooked, but lost all of them, 3 other bumps.

This is some of the more challenging kayak fishing due to the kayak is in motion...trees, bushes, rocks all come into play...need to be able to paddle with one hand...hope to video the next trip..

That's too bad that you didn't catch any this trip. I haven't tried yaking the weber yet. Maybe I need to Give that a try. I'm heading to the Green next week to Kayak Fish the A&B sections.
