seaflower reef
#1
was the hot spot for fluke today, landing a 19.5,18.0,and many shorts.we started at the ferry landing of fishers island, hit a few bluefish blitzes ,so we had fun with them.tried for fluke but the porgies and squid were unreal, just kept taking the bait.then we headed to the monistery,no action there, back to ram island, loaded with small porgies.then to the seaflower, were we should have started had great action being non stop, just as soon as the bait hit the bottom, they were hitting it.the boat ran great with a new lower end,the snappers are in at crockers boat yard, the are about 3.5 inches, the blue crabs are huge .going to go down latter this week for them

Glad to see Don got it back together. Great job on the fluke and I'm glad to hear the crabs are running up there. Still not much down here for them.Did you have any luck on the plastic squid?
