Gorge on the fly

Well we did a trip to the Gorge on Friday it looked like a great day sense it rained and blowed in the night where we was....

The morning looked great we headed up lake to look thing over the water coming in was muddy and so we headed back down to get out of the dirty water....

The bass fishing was slow for bass over 12" but good for smaller ones the wind came back up about 2:00 so we left at 3:00 for home....

The bigger bass are down pretty deep. The best fishing was when they were on the beds a few months back. Since then, I havent caught many over 8". They sure do love poppers down here though...

Sounds like a fairly quick turn around Cliff. Were you dropshotting?

We tried a lot of lures from top water to cranks to tubs and drop shots most came out of 15 to 30' of water biggest was 14" but most was 11 1/2" still fun but we was looking for bigger bass....
