[black]I have a pair of electric Big Jons, and they have lasted me for years, trouble free. Mine are not as fancy as the one you bought, but they are basically the same. [/black]

I've had friends buy other makes, and many of them have had problems with them, and have ended up replacing them. I think that you are really going to enjoy you Big Jon.

I have 2 of the Big Jon small boat manual riggers and they are fantastic.I like them because there is very little plastic on them.I have never had a problem with them .They stopped making that model a few years ago but I got one on e-bay from a guy in Michigan.

Fished with Big Jons for years luv them booms are a lot more sensitive than the broom handles on the Canons, especially the way that me and Ash fish for the Macks.I am sure you will like them and will probably want to sell the Canon and buy you another Big Jon

[black]Now that you have that fancy new downrigger, and you can fish with two rods, you may want to look at a new device that [/black]
Gary at Shasta tackle has come up with.

The product is called the Shuttle Hawk. It appears to be a good way to fish two rods off of a single downrigger.

You may want to go into their web site to take a look at it. [black]They have a demo on their site showing how it works.[/black]
