I will be spending a weekend in Lacy, WA. My Sister is having a baby and her husband is stationed there while serving in Iraq. Anyway, He is getting leave for the birth, and wants to go fishing while we are up there. I have never been so I am looking for spots/advice. Of course I have been checking thier boards. But, was hoping someone closer to home might have some info as well. Thanks in Advance, Troutlover

I cant speak for the rest of the state, but we have fished the olympic penisula several times and have had some of the best fishing trips in my life there. Great king salmon fishing in the fall on the hoh river, as well as others. Great silver fishng in the strait of juan de fuca and on most of the penisula rivers in the fall. Some of the largest steelhead anywhere are found on the peninsula rivers in early spring. Great scenery along the beaches, rain forest, old growth forests etc. Awesome fresh halibut and salmon at the rivers edge restaurant in lapush. PM me if you want some details on what weve done up there. A great place to go if youve got some extra time. Here are a few pics of some of the fish weve caught up there.[inline patbigking1.jpg][inline Russ4.JPG]
