Weber..Taggarts area
#1
Hit the Weber 10/14/07 around Taggarts. Started slow but when the sun got high enough to hit the water it got good. Lost count on the whitefish but landed 7 decent size browns also. Nothin great...biggest brown went 13 inches. I was nymphing with a beadhead pheasant tail as my top fly and the good ole reliable barber scud on the bottom. Most were caught on the pheasant tail but the barber scud was catching up when I had to leave around 1:30. The water is down with decent clarity. It should clear even more between now and November when the browns really turn on !

Was kinda nice...didn't even wet a line till 9:30 or so. As soon as the sun hit the water there was a serious hatch goin. Not sure what they were but they were thick enough to land on the bill of my hat along with my neck and ears. The fish were slurping right off the top and in the film.
