Reservoir is ice capped, and there were a dozen fisher people on ice by dam end, all not far from shore. I can't speak to ice thickness or quality as much of the reservoir was open yet yesterday.

I drilled a couple of holes mid lake at the State Park today. The ice there is only about 2 inches thick, with open water still out about 100 yards or so. I saw the guys down by the dam. I hope the ice was thicker down there!

I drove by there today and there were 3 parties fishing on the west side. The edges didn't look great but when i drove back by nobody had fallen through.[Wink]

I fished the upper end yesterday. There is six inches of solid ice on the east side where I hiked down to the ice. It has been frozen a couple of weeks longer than the rest of the lake. Watch the first couple of steps getting on the ice because it wasn't quite frozen. Didn't catch a fish until 11:00 AM and then it was pretty fast and furious for a couple of hours. I caught mostly small rainbows with a couple of perch mixed in. I saw a couple of groups near the state park on the east side. They didn't go out far, so the ice must not be very good there yet.
