I've always wanted to get out there. I always read about Lindon for catfishing. Is there a fee to park there?

[cool][#0000ff]$5 to drive in and park...$2 for walk in (park outside gate). $60 annual pass.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Good fishing most of the year...inside the harbor and outside along the dikes. As most places, can be hit or miss.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Often good fishing off the docks for crappies and bluegills. Good largemouth around the inside edges, near structure. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Some cats inside but better outside. Lots of mudders and white bass inside most days. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I have caught lots of walleyes both inside, around the edges and outside along the rocks.[/#0000ff]

Awesome. Thanks TubeDude. Is that $60 pass the state parks pass or what? I'd like to get my hands on that. If it's not the state parks pass what else is it good for?

Lindon is a private marina. The pass is only good for Lindon. It is completely different than the state parks pass. I get one every year anyway, because Lindon is my favorite place to launch my boat at Utah Lake. Besides, I like to support the private businesses if I can. I just keep hoping they put in a fish cleaning station one of these years.

[cool][#0000ff]Like 2Fish said, the pass is good only for Lindon. But, I also plan to get an annual pass this year. We always do well there and the facilities are good. Probably the only reason we have fished Lincoln Beach as much as we have is to avoid the $5 daily entry fee. But...when you figure another 35 minutes to Lincoln Beach, and the gas round trip, you easily save the $5 by going to Lindon with the cost of gas these days.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The only bad thing about Lindon is the heavy boat traffic after about mid morning. It is worse on weekends and during the summer but not so bad early and late in the season. That's when the fishing is best anyway. But, since we get to fish midweek we can usually avoid the worst of it by hitting the water at daybreak and getting away from the harbor.[/#0000ff]
