] I went to the Expo show today and there were tons of people and lots of guided trips to look at. The show just isn't the same without Doug Miller when he was there it was alot more for the family and lots of venders selling fishing, hunting and other sporting goods and activities.
The upside was I stopped by Maniac Custom Lures and met James and the family for the first time. I have only talked to he and his wife ordering baits over the phone. It was worth the entry fee for some great buys and to see all of his baits. He was very informative on how to use of each bait, along with his little test tank display and trout test tank that you could see the baits in action and sit down for a minute. I learned some good tips and bought a bunch of salt sticks, maniac minnows, and Cut'r Bugs (field tested 100% success). I also got some small new Cut'r Bugs and some small Gizzy bugs that are going to kill the crappie, perch, bluegills, bass and trout when the ice comes off. Stop by Sunday it's the last day and see them and stock up. If not go to [url "http://www.maniaccustomlures.com"]www.maniaccustomlures.com[/url] or your local tackle dealer and get some. If you don't catch fish on them that's because they all have a sore mouth or are all in the frying pan. Great to see local made products that are MADE IN THE USA.
