[#0000ff]Sooooo, with that said. It is working out to be kinda the same as the last one. We will have it at Lincoln Beach (BY VOTE)[angelic] and the date of JUNE 28, 2008. I know we only have a week and a half to prepare, but I feel it is feasable.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]So for what ever you guys can bring, here is a list from the last CATFEST.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Just RSVP, give the # in your party and # of Kids. We will wait and see on donations before we talk about prizes and things for the kids.[/#0000ff]

Ouch, pain and pain, I have a reservation at Fish Lake that weekend so won't be able to make it. Seems like some of us always have scheduling conflicts that just can't be avoided.

I still want to support the fest in any way I can. My best bet to contribute looks to be prizes for the kids. How about a $$ donation?? If there is something needed that requires a few dollars I would be happy to contribute. Please let me know if I can contribute prizes or money for prizes or whatever.

I will think of you all while reeling in my 30 pound laker at Fish Lake.

[cool]AWESOME!!!! That date will work for me. I will be there and hopefully I'll even have my tube fixed by then. Popped air bladder. Gotta look and see how big the hole is to see if it's repairable.

Anyway, I'm lookin' forward to it. I'll be launching off the beach South of the South dike at about 0600. I may be able to bring something. I'll check back in a couple days to see what else needs to be brought. See you guys there.

If it does not work out and you don't get the response you need, you should consider combining your resources with the willard gathering. I am sure it would work out good. It is a little later than your planned day, but it sounds like there are quite a few that can't make it due to the date. Just a thought. Let me know if you are interested.[cool]

Sorry to say that I won't be coming to the Catfest. It's the end of the month, and my money's all used up (my computer konked out last night, and I'm dipping into savings (which I hate doing!) to pay for fixing it).
Unless somebody wants to take me, I just don't have the $30 for gas to even get there, let alone park fees or whatever else.

As I said before, if it was on/after July 5, I could do it. So I guess I'll just have to be happy with only going to the Willard Torney.

I'm betting that some are like me and my son who plan to come, but just don't have the time to check the boards and reply. (Admittedly, it can be a challenge for some when other plans are sometimes needed to be made in further advance...) [:/]

I was going to call a friend who was interested in coming, but if thoughts are of potentially canceling, I'm hesitant to do so... I'd hate to see it cancelled, and have anyone not check the boards show up and wonder where everyone is! []

As long as a few are some coming, I plan on being there.
