I am hoping to do some camping if the weather is going to let me. I am thinking of Echo, but it gets pretty cold up there at night. We camped ther last year on the 24th of July and about froze my a## off. But when we got up in the morning there were carp everywhere. My son really wants to take his bow up there and see if he can get some. I have never seen so many carp, they were up on the top of the water. So I guess we will have to see what the waether brings.

I don't like the big holiday crowds. I go the week before or after.

If I can get away I'll be fishing some sweet little spots on the North Slope. I just love those 3" Brookies.

I usually hit Strawberry with my float tube on Memorial day. But, this year I'm off all week. Hmmm, Smallmouth fishing at the Gorge, CJ Srike, or Jordanelle.

I've got a 2 week backpacking trip in the boulders planned but that's if I don't get a job before that other wise it'll be shortened.
