I am going to have a hard time handing this rod off to someone else. It is the CARPANATOR!
I hit the river again to day and with that fighting butt, it is nice landing these monsters out of thick grass.
While I lost several, I landed a bunch.

Not sure on the hook but it is a short shank wide gape. Maybe a #10?

Yeah, MacFly zeroed in on the two hander. Sweet rod and GLASS. I do have to return it though, that is going to be tuff.

Speaking of which, I received a call the other night with some GREAT gear and a super price. Just waiting for the list so I know exactly what is available, but this includes PONTOONS for under $200 and two handed rods under $50.
