[/#500000][#008000]Fishing has been reported as good. The back corner has probably been fishing the best. People have been having success with powerbait & worms, olive wooley buggers, Thomas Boyant & Castmaster lures.

[#008000]Fishing has been reported as being good.[/#008000][#008000] Like South Lake, people have been having luck with powerbait & worms, olive wooley buggers, Thomas Boyant & Castmaster lures. Fishing at the back end of Sabrina has been producing, too.

Fly fishing is VERY good, especially at the inlet. Green mosquitoes or California mosquitoes have been red hot at North Lake. At the inlet try a dry & a dropper. Size 12 or 14 stimulator pattern on top, 16 or 18 tiger midge on bottom. For lures, try Thomas Boyant, Mepps, Castmasters. Powerbait, salmon eggs and worms for bait.
Mosquitoes are fierce during the evening.

[#008000][#500000]Weir Pond [/#500000][#500000](1/2 mile below South Lake)
[/#500000]Weir Pond is 3 acres of shallow water with a subtle current making it a perfect spot for wading. You'll find wild browns, brookies and rainbows, not to mention some planted rainbows and Alpers trophy trout. If no fish are rising then you have to nymph it with midges, WD40s (olive & black) in 20s & 22s. Try a dry & dropper. No surprise that it fishes better when the fish are rising.

[#008000][#500000]Intake II [/#500000][#500000](12 miles from Bishop)
[/#500000]Fishing is pretty good. Midge fishing in the late afternoon has been good, too. However, fisherman have been reporting better success fishing the upper lakes. Success has been reported with salmon eggs, powerbait, worms, olive wooly buggers, Thomas Boyant & Castmaster lures.

[#500000]North & South Forks of Bishop Creek [/#500000][#008000][#500000](9 to 19 miles from Bishop, Bishop Creek Canyon)
[/#500000]North Fork is running clear. Fishing is tough but they're getting a fair number of fish. Small panther martins, mini jigs, powerbait, salmon eggs, worms, and try a dry & dropper. Try a brightly-colored orange or yellow dry top. South Fork has more flow than North Fork. Small panther martins, mini jigs, powerbait, salmon eggs, and worms.
