Going up to fish the Berry this Saturday and although I have fished up there a lot with my potoon boat this will the first time I have taken my new boat up there. Which side would you guys recommend from a boat? We plan on trolling. I am a little leary of dealing with the wind when it comes up so I am thinking about the Soldier creek side as I think the wind blows a little bit less over there. What about Mud creek is it possible to launch a boat there? Or would I be better off just launching at the Strawberry marina? My boat is a 16 footer with a 18hp motor so I don't want to get too far out there and have the wind pick up.
