Hello everyone!!!

I wanted to know if anyone here knows of any good place to get fishing supplies for girls? Like pink and purple rods or lures.

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks!
Rhonda.

Rhonda,
Welcome to BFT!!!
There is a banner that comes up on the Introductory Forum for Calient. (Pink girl with rod).(www.stingraytackle.com )The site has pink rods for women(girls). Haven't check too much on pink lures but I'm sure you could find some @ Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops. Hope this helps you out.

So I just placed an order on reelfishinggirl.com. I got the Mermaid holiday package for my daughter :-) I will let everyone know how it is once I get it in. If you want I could send you pictures if anyone is interested!

She better like it, if not I will selfishly steal it from her!!! Hahaha!

I got my wife a pink shakespeare combo last summer and yesterday at gander mountain got her a purple and black shakespeare IM7 6'6" rod. I hope she likes it. She also uses mostly pink, purple and blue lures and crankbaits.

Cool. The site I ordered from had some cheap pink/purple/blue crankbaits and lures. I just got my daughter's gift in the mail and the package came with all their lures. Here they are for reference. I was going to get that lure pack for her but it turns out I get pretty much the same thing from the holiday pack, in addition to a shirt, visor, and rod so it seemed like the better move ;-)

If it makes her happy and she will go fishing with you more I say power to the pink.

My little girl likes to count fish caught on her pole even though she doesn't always want to reel the fish in herself. Luckly her brother is always willing to help her out.[Wink]

my wife caught a huge catfish last summer on her pole. She started yelling for me and throwing the pole into my hands. I was too quick to try and get the fish in and I lost it. [Image: sad.gif] It was a big one too. She mostly likes to catch bluegills.

rhonda1717,
I checked out the www.fisher.com site, it is for industrial valves. I liked the reelfishinggirl.com site. Lots of neat [#ffbfdf][#ff00ff]PINK[/#ff00ff] [/#ffbfdf][#000000]stuff. I will keep looking for [#ff00ff]"Pink"[/#ff00ff] sites.[/#000000]

I got my wife a Med/Light Ugly Stik combo (pink) and it's really nice for fishing spinnerbaits and small cranks. My only gripe with all of the ladies' combos I've seen is that they are not at all good for fishing soft plastics. When we throw senkos or frogs in the local pond, she borrows my rods 'cuz the pink Ugly Stik has ZERO hook-set power.

My daughter will be 3 on January 11th (I'll post some pics of her in the photo galleries) and she adamantly wants a Barbie combo and tackle box for Christmas. I can keep her occupied for hours on end, just showing her my lures. She's hooked at the ripe age of 2. My son is going to be 5 in February, and he's the same way.

Just a thought.... This could be a new line for Victoria Secrets. They could sell lures with their allure items.
