Fishing shallow water, about 10 feet or so, has been good for cruising rainbows of about 12 to 13 inches.

Look for water that isn't over run with weeds.
If you can find an area at the edge of a weed line, you will have a good area.

If you bring up weeds on most of your drops to the bottom, move!

[:/] I was there yesterday morning. Two of us, 5 hours, I caught 1 12" trout and one 8 inch perch. Had an underwater camera, had perch, trout, bluegill, lg mouth and sm. mouth bass all in view at different times with NO takers of our bait! Tried meal & wax worms, night crawlers, salmon eggs all to no active response. I caught both on "perch eyes", chartruse in color with a meal worm. fished 3-400 yards east of ramp in 10' of water.

Was up there last Sat. We walked all the way over to the Knoll on the East side. Caught some rainbows and little perch. Pleasant surprise was my first fish of the day...bout a pound and a half largemouth.Seems they didn't want any kind of a jig so I put on a single salmon egg hook and covered it with a couple of waxies. That was my best rig for the day.
