Willard seems to be picking up...Caught 8 in two hours yesterday 05/27 around the southeast corner. Fished from 7 to 9 pm. Used worm harness w/bottom bouncer. One 3 lb Wiper and one 3.5 lb Walleye. Caught 2 smaller Walleyes, 3 Cat's, and a 12" perch. The wind was blowing just enough to keep the bugs from biting. Good day on the bay!

Sounds like a great day on the bay. That is a pretty nice perch. I haven't heard much about perch since ice fishing.

Great report Striker, that is a huge perch and a good sized wiper and walleye. How deep was the water you were fishing in? When we start catching 8 wipers in two hours then we will know that the wiper fishing is picking up. It has been a slow year so far for wiper catching. WH2

A perch in Willard was a first for me...We didn't have a fish-finder...not quite sure of the depth....I would say approx 8 ft. by the line we were letting out.
