Hey danielc,
On your kitty filleds in the center the lateral line cut out the reddish meat in the filleds and that will take the strong taste out of it, alway remove the lateral lines on kittys. The Darker color meat.
It really helps [Wink]

I never heard of the Mud lake area. I know where Goshen Bay, Lincoln Beach, Lincoln Point, Bird Island, Spanish Fork Inlet, Provo Bay, State Park, Bubble Up, Lindon Boat Harbor, American Fork Harbor, Jordan River Outlet, Saratoga Springs, Pelican Point, Goose Point, and the Knolls are. Where is Mud lake?

[cool][#0000ff]Here's a Google Earth shot of what it looks like during high water. During low water it is a cornfield.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Very snaggy but usually produces lots of white bass and catfish. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]You would like the Knolls better for our style of fishing[/#0000ff]
