After reading about it this morning a few buddies and myself decided to head out there. SKUNKED!!!! We tryed everything! Tryed for the bass, bluegill, and talapia. Nothing. Could see the bass but they wanted nothing to do with anything we through at them. The eveneing was cut short due to the weather. Did come home with $210 extra bucks though from Wendover [cool]

Too bad... I have had some good days out there, but the fishing has never been fast, exactly.
I haven't been since the tilapia have been found in there. Can you see them by any chance? I'm interested in learning their habits, where they hang out, etc, and sight fishing for them with small baits on a flyrod or something like that...

I didn't even put bug spray on. Got bit only once. However the wind was just blowing so hard that I think they just weren't able to be out in it. I'd like to go again sometime. Only saw the main pond. I'd like to try the smaller bluegill ponds.

I couldn't catch anything out of the main pond either. The bluegill ponds were more tilapia ponds when I went.

I have been to it, but never fished it. I suggest you ask someone who has fished it.

Yea, they were taking the small tube jigs tipped with worm under a bobber in all of the small ponds. We caught quite a few. They just wouldn't bite in the big lake.

When we went they were taking a pink or a pink white. I only went the once however, and really don't know much about talapia.
