I Have never fished the provo before.. Im heading up there this sunday.. I checked out the web page from the Stone fly society.. What a great help that is.. But now my problem is where to go.. Is there a lot of public acsess or is it mostly private ?? I would like to start north of Heber ( I guess thats the middle Provo) then work my way down Provo canyon..
Thanks for any help

It's not the best time to go. I went there last Sunday, the spring run-off is at its peak, the water is way too high. I didn't get any fish.

I agree that the water is high, but I know that there are plenty of fish out there.
I am a newbie to the Provo too, but I went out last weekend and caught fish all day.

With run off...try a SAN JUAN worm...it will surprise you.
That is what is happening right now. The little blood worms are being washed up and they are swirling around.
Indicator/worm...and good luck.
