Hunted kokanee at Strawberry Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Managed to boat 5 Thursday, one super size 2 lb 12 oz. Two other nice ones and two small ones, probably one year olds. Those were caught a little north of the old Strawberry dam. Next AM couldn't find them finally motored down to Soldier Creek end and landed a very nice one off the two toilets. Checked water temperatures: surface 70 deg, thermocline begins to develop at 20 ft at 64 deg and declines to 46 at 30 ft. Looks like a really good year for koks at Strawberry.
