New from Connecticut
#1
Randy Given here, new member from Connecticut. I've never been into fishing much until just recently. Seem to have the bass-bug and having a hard time shaking it. Wink

When I was a kid (now I'm 46) my dad would take me along with his friend as they fished for Muskie and Northern Pike in the Straits of Mackinac between Upper and Lower Peninsulas of Michigan. I remember the large quantities they caught and the large sizes.

I don't have a boat (our canoe is marginal) and it certainly makes it more "challenging" fishing from shore. I do have a boating license but probably won't get a boat until next year at the earliest.

Current setup is Abu Garcia Revo STX baitcasting reel on Shimano graphice 6'6" rod using P-Line Halo fluorocarbon. Mostly using spinnerbaits and plastic worms, lizards, and crawfish.
