Worked Jordanelle over on Monday and the catching was great for 4-6 inch perchies. Worked all depths, different habitats, and scads of little ones. Anyone having different results ????
Where have all the big perch gone ???

The biggest perch I"ve caught out of Jordanelle this summer have been shallower than the dinks. Most have come from 2-4' of water, near brush. Not as many tho, it seems, as compared to 5-6 years ago. Ditto for ice fishing the last few winters. As with a lot of fish, tough to get the bait to the big ones when the little ones bite at first glance.

I caught a couple of nice size perch out of Deer Creek 12in and 10in but I had too wade thru a lot of little ones. I caught the biggest with a jig draggin on the bottom under a bobber about 25 feet away from where I was keepin the littel ones entertained.

I went to mantua on monday and saw a fisherman who had a big fat 12 inch perch on his stringer. Alas, there, like everywhere else mentioned has a large number of smaller ones you will more likely catch.
