Stripping apron loops
#1
Ok, this is NOT for spinning fisherman (sorry). Only
fly fishers could have use for something like this.
Sometimes my fly line gets tangled in my apron when I
have like 60'-80' feet of line out to make long casts.
Im tring not to make long casts but sometimes I just
have to.
I seen this loops before someplace so I made some
for my apron. I will try to test it out next week and post
the results if anyone likes me to.

Like I said, Orvis had a stripping basket that had them in it. But the bottom was rigid. I am curious how this will work being cloth bottom.

Must be me, but my line seldom tangles. The sinking line being smaller diameter is more incline to, but not a big deal and usually in the guides, not my lap.

Yeah, in the first guide for sure but I think it starts in the apron and then it goes into the first guide..............
Well, it only happens when I have a LOT of line out.
Hey, if I dont like the way it works then I can always
remove it.
