First brown
#1
Went up to Grantsville res. yesterday and caught my first brown trout ever. I have been trying to catch one for a while but they have eluded me. Slow day of fishing overall. I caught one planter bow and lost one at the hole. Brown was released to grow and multiply but the bow will go nicely with rice.[Wink] Lots of fish coming up to my lure on sonar but no takers. Changed color, shape and bait but no success. Beautiful day nonetheless. Cant wait for the Bash this weekend...see you there.

Congrats on the brown. It is always nice to catch something you have never caught before. Hope it was all you wished it would be..... and it probably was as you got it on the hard deck.

Good job on the Brown.....three of us sat on that ice for about 5 hours with more than several small hits and bumps....no takers. Good company sure helps with the slow days !!

Good luck on your next trip out there !!!

I was out there yesterday as well. I only caught one brown. The bite was very slow. I saw fish on the finder, but they wouldn't hit. Very slow.
