Fish Finders?

So I have a vexilar, but I was bored and looked at some finders online. Anyway, does anyone here have experience with the normal graph type that also have the flasher option you can select...such as the garmin 300c? How well does the flasher option work on these compared to a vexilar?

i got a Lowrance x135 and a x510c and both have the flasher option on them.. they work just as good as your vexilar.. but they can go deeper! i find the graph mode a lot better then the flasher anyway..
