Just to add to your misery, we're floating the Kern River next Friday. This will be my first river float on the new boat. I don't think it's fishing all that well but I'm really there for the floating experience this time. Need to practice my ferrying techniques and see what it's like to stand up while drifting.

Peter you and me both can't wait to get out there. I've also been going crazy not being able to get out there. I'm counting down the days until it's fishing season. Another thing that might get you mad is I have the week after opening day off from school!
