Slayed the weber again and 2 more firsts
#1
made it to m,organ at 0723 caught my first brown on my very first cast. non stop for me on the fly rod today. the GF says she thinks i caught over 60 fish, with more then 60% being browns. the hot flys of the day were a 22 red copper john, and a lightning bug. no matter where we stopped i was catching fish. she caught one on a rapala but that was it for a long long time. passed a few people chucking hardware and they were in the same boat. met a guy that was out with his boys and all he said he was getting was suckers and a brown here and there. the guys that were fly fishing dident seem to have a lot of luck either.

now for the firsts. i got the tiger off my list for the weber, and then the rainbow, i always wanted a weber cutty. and i got it today!

the second first, after seeing the GF not catching anything i passed Mr Helios off to her. i would cast and hook up, but she would land the fish. as a matter of fact the first fish she landed on the fly rod was a dandy brown! like i have said before i landed a keeper!

i did hook into one NICE brown that broke my 4X tippet at my feet, but without pics, its just another story.

enjoy!

Good looking fish !!!

Hey how do you like that Redinton Jacket ? I got there previous model Bow River jacket and its pretty good only the tapered seams are starting to peel off.

Looking to upgrade but with spring around to corner not sure if I should go with a lighter weight or just sweat it out.
