I might stay away from Mantua. It is getting heavy pressure right now and is crowded on the weekends now. I am guessing it will be crowded on the holiday too. Last Saturday it was so crowded that the noise on the ice slowed the fish down I think. Hyrum seems to be doing well though. You might want to check there.

It's $6 if you want to park at the swim beach or the state park. There is free parking by the turnout at the dam. I normally ante up and and access at the swim beach to get towards the inlet. You will see all the people fishing close to the inlet, I have done well all throughout that area. Hope it helps...good luck and have fun.

Mantua was crazy busy over Xmas, but lots of folks got into lotsa fish. I suspect there's still opportunity there, but don't know what the pressure has done to them.
Hyrum was hitting for me pretty good. Busy trout, and lot of perch if you can get down to them.
Was thinking about tyring more towards the campground, docks area. How is that under ice?
There are lots of dinky perch and lots of planter bows. If you can find the older brown or tiger. Some lunkers there be.
I will be out there Saturday for sure. Son is itching to try it. PM or look for a black Frabill. We'll be there.
I'm looking at Sun to Willard.S see what I can find. Any takers???
