We arrived at the soldier creek campground day use area at about 230 pm and started fishing the shore line. We were throwing spinners, spoons and a few rapalas. I ended up catching 2 small rainbows and one slot cutt. all on spinners. My buddy caught one slot cutt on a rooster tail. We left at 730 pm. The shore is open all the way to the narrows. The deeper spots had fish surfacing and rolling the whole time we were there, but they weren't biting. My buddy also tried a night crawler and powerbait with no luck.
