My son caught this 2 days ago. Name the fish and the lake!

Its not from Utah..
It looks like a Mackerel..

Looks like a Lady Fish aka ..a poor mans Tarpon. I've caught a bunch in Cabo.

It is a Lady fish. Used to catch lots of them in the surf in Florida. They are a blast on light tackle. He says to name the "lake" though. I've never seen or heard of them in fresh water.

look like a lady fish to me, he did say lake, in the south aren't there bodies of saltwater that people just call lakes cause they are mostly surrounded by land?

You right. That was a trick question. It is a ladyfish caught in Florida. I though for sure someone was going to suggest that it was a koke.
