This last weekend my cousin and I took out my father in-laws 15 foot boat that has been sitting for 10+ years. I was gonna take the wife but i figure not having a motor and how it hasnt been used in a long time me and my cousin would take it out. We got out to Lincoln beach around 7. I arrived first and decided while i was waiting on him i would throw some jigs out. Fished right at the pier for about 5 mins caught one little white bass. Then we got the boat out we didnt go far seeing how we had to paddle. The weather was perfect to start off the paddling wasnt that bad actually. We got out the and decided to jig and throw some crank baits. After about 30mins of that decided to try some hot dogs. Pretty slow at first but after a while my cousin started killing. He ended the day with 7 channels 1 mud and a white bass. I was fishing the same way and same place and had only one hit and i missed it. He had several hits that he didnt get in either but was a pretty good day over all. I caught one nasty sun burn on my back haha. The cats more then likely averaged around 19 inchs and about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds. Fun day. Will be out there more pretty soon. will keep ya updated
