Pineview islands
#1
Has anyone noticed if the islands on the N. side have started to poke up jet? That's kind of an indicator for me when to start that area for smallies. [:/] lurkers - beware of miss leading info. [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Are you referring to the submerged points south of browning point?

No, I'm talking about the 2, sometimes 3 (depending how low the water is) that are on the N side just W. of that big bay which is W. of Middle Fork bay. I think they call it party bay or something like that.

These guys? If so, as of two weeks ago the highest points were still pretty deep.

I tried to read what you sent me on a map,the best I can figure You are way, way too far W. Looks like your showing the boat dock areas on the W. side and the bay to the N. I'm talking the N. Shore line way before Browning point!!!???

Send me the web site for the lake and I'll show you if I can. Not computer literate.

My Bad!!!! I looked at the map again and understand it now. For some reason I was getting the water and land along with directions reversed. I guess the colors threw me along with being old, slow and dumb. [blush][blush][blush][blush][blush] Actually, I don't know what my problem was reading it. Sorry! You had it right. Thanks bud.

P.s. I still would like to have the web. site for that info so I can look at the rest of the lake.[Smile]

You can buy that map for 7 dollars anywhere and everywhere that deals with fish or marine gear. I don't think fish'n'map co would put it on their website for freeloaders to print off though.

Like they said, you can buy those maps at any angling store. I picked mine up from anglers den in Roy. They have them at sportsmans and a bunch of the gas stations up here in Huntsville. Not a replacement for a depth finder, but it does give you a head start

Went there today. Water level at 79%, the middle island starting to show tops of brush. Fishing - lousy. [Image: icon_sad.gif]

Perchinski and I were up there yesterday and yes you are right the fishing was lousy... a dozen smallies and none over 12". The one's that were caught were spitting up some pretty good sized bait fish. Hopefully the fall patterns kick in or I will be putting the rods away and picking up the shotgun very soon!!!
