Headed to Rockport Saturday. Will be out from the boat ramp. Stop by and say hello if you're there or come drill a hole and pull up a chair.
Will have a dark blue DX3000 ice house, yellow chair, black snowpants and blond hair. Would like to meet some of you people.

I will be up there on saturday with about 10 other guys. My brother is getting married on wednsday the 18th. So this is his bachelor party. How is the ice up there? I only ask because we were there about two weeks ago and the edges were soft. We will have 4wheelers because one of our friends is handicap and has a hard time on flat ground let alone ice. Confirmed, buddy and I will be leaving Layton tomorrow@730ish for Rockport. Buddy busted up ice sled so I'll be dragging my son's off-road Red Ryder Wagon[laugh]. If any BFT'ers see us come say hello!

[fishin] Rockport was really slow today. I didn't hear of anyone doing very well. I caught one but it wasn't tagged[frown]. Still a nice day until the wind came up. There are a lot of people up there now.
Thinking I'll head someplace else for a while.

On the bright side it sounds like all the other lakes are going to be pretty peaceful and hopefully good fishing.

How was the fishing at Rockport? Heading up for MLK day contemplating taking the wheeler. How thick was the ice?

Ice was at least 9" at our hole. Personally, yesterday wasn't great for our fishing group. Only 1 fish lost at the hole. Others have reported pulling a few out, but nothing spectacular. Hope you do well!

I was up there Saturday to. We had a group of six only catched four between us. We fished by the beach area. Wondering if anyone at of all the people there catched a tag? Seen some snowmobiles and a four wheeler on the ice. Alot of crackle and popping on the ice.
