New to fly fishing and would love any input you have. I have yet to purchase anything and am considering what all needs be. Best places to fish? Waders? Expensive pole...etc. i want to to fish all that Utah really has to offer and fly fishing sounds really fun. only been fishing roughly around 2 years now and would love to get into this. any input is appreciated. thanks again

There is a ton of info on here and youtube (and the web in general).

I have found you'll get better answers to specific questions than to general ones.

It's hard to find but if you use the search button and type in your question you'll be reading for days. And some really good info at that.

The very first question I would ask back at you for clarity would be; What kind of fly fishing do you want to do i.e. lakes, rivers?

Fly Fishers use rods, not poles[Wink]
Next I think a good general outfit so you CAN fish rivers or stillwater.

An "expensive" set-up" to me would be:
Sage One 8'6" 5 wt.
Simms Waders (any that fit right)
Korker or Simms Boots
Nautilus FWX
Shark Skin Line for floater

As to where to fish. I say anywhere there is water.
