We hit up DC first at the island resort and walked back along highway 189. The ice was pretty sketchy. After testing several holes at different debths we determined the ice was 2.5 inches to 4 inchs thick. We walked around the outside of the lake very close to the shore for saftey and ended up fishing about 60 feet away from the shore once we found our spot. It was a slow day but we did manage several decent sized bows. Next we hit up Jordanelle and fished in the rock cliff arm. The ice was over 12 inches thick and a 4 wheeler was on the ice. This ice only extended down the rock cliff arm for about 1/4 of a mile. The day was late and we only ended up with 1 small bow at Jordanelle. All pics are from DC
