Wednesday Feb 15

I have a trip coming up on Friday and wanted to see what all the cold weather had done to the lake temp so I spent the day on Percy Priest with good friend Donnie Rubel from Murfreesboro. We started out pretty fast catching 5 including 2 pretty good fish and missing 3 or 4 bites. Then the sun popped out and the bite fizzled pretty quick. Water temp to start the day was 46 degrees and when we pulled out it was 49/50 degrees. We moved around shallow then deep and with the sun out it was pretty tough bite. We then switched up techniques and began throwing the Tennessee Rig and caught a couple and lost 1 pretty good fish. The bite picked up when we switched up. Water clarity was slightly stained to clear, wind was S-SE at 5-10mph. We threw jigs, cranks, and jerkbaits early and the T-rig later in the day. Give me a call for a trip @ 615-829-3902 or email me at mark@adamsguidesvc.com
