That's an awesome beast. What kind of carp is it?

We've got mirror carp and common, or kings locally. Some of them can get damned big! Fun fight as much as folks dis them (good bait too!).

Appreciate your inputs Paul. Nice to hear from someone doing the same thing, but in a different place. Do envy you your warm seasons (=big fish) and ocean opportunities!

We call them grass carp,as the water level goes up they come as shallow as they can to eat the grass.As a kid I saw a golden one,like 5'P.S.Looks like Bytebull is comming down this April,he can help give you guys some more insight on Florida fun. He wants to catch one of them P-bass I call Lukinani.....God Bless America
